from a few sunny days in LA last month. my uber driver back to the airport played country music as we drove through suburban areas and shopping centers (parking lots!) with all the windows down - i had nearly forgotten all of those things even existed.

Called Alyssa on Wednesday, booked a ticket on Thursday, showed up Saturday at 4am. Had the best weekend with my favorite people.
